Over the past few years, we have been geeking out on how empathy and compassion enriches our research. We are so into it, we finally decided to start a club so we can hang out and talk about it with others! You’re invited--join our Meetup group UX for the People.
Get inspired to be with people in a new and integrated way to elicit the actual experience from the person, not "a user." We will dig deep into the latest research in empathic training, methods of compassion training, relational research and explore ways of finding greater meaning as a UX researcher. In this group we will get practical about incorporating interpersonal neurobiology and mindfulness with classic UX methodology.
Most of all, we will practice what we preach and have create a great experience for ourselves! We plan to have FUN being together at happy hours, learning experientially, sharing knowledge, and mixing things up yoga, climbing, meditation, being outside, and more.
Our inaugural Meetup is coming up! Join us Tuesday, June 12, 6-7pm for Happy Hour at Opa! on South Congress.
Can’t make it? Join UX for the People to be notified of future hangouts!
